This policy outlines the terms for cancellations, refunds, and damage deposits for bookings made through [netwmp.com]. Please read it carefully, as your ability to receive a refund is determined by the specific cancellation policy set by the property host.

1. Cancellation Refunds

Your refund eligibility for a cancelled trip depends entirely on the cancellation policy the host has selected for their property.

How Cancellations Work:

  • When a guest cancels a booking, the refund amount is automatically calculated based on the host’s chosen policy.
  • To cancel, log into your account, go to “My Trips,” select the relevant reservation, and click “Cancel Booking.”
  • If you are eligible for a 100% refund of the rental amount according to the policy, our service fee will also be automatically refunded.

Standard Cancellation Policies:
Hosts on our platform can choose from the following standard policies:

  • Relaxed
    • Full refund if canceled at least 14 days before check-in.
    • 50% refund if canceled between 7-14 days before check-in.
    • No refund if canceled less than 7 days before check-in.
  • Moderate
    • Full refund if canceled at least 30 days before check-in.
    • 50% refund if canceled between 14-30 days before check-in.
    • No refund if canceled less than 14 days before check-in.
  • Firm
    • Full refund if canceled at least 60 days before check-in.
    • 50% refund if canceled between 30-60 days before check-in.
    • No refund if canceled less than 30 days before check-in.
  • Strict
    • 50% refund if canceled at least 60 days before check-in.
    • No refund if canceled less than 60 days before check-in.
  • No Refund
    • Please note that some listings may offer a non-refundable option.

Always check the specific cancellation policy for the property you are booking, as hosts may also set custom policies.

2. Damage Deposit Refunds

A refundable damage deposit is a security hold placed on your payment method to cover any potential property damage.

How Damage Deposits Work:

  • The deposit amount is held by netwmp.com and is not charged to you upfront.
  • Provided no damage is reported by the host, the hold on the deposit is automatically released after your stay, typically within 7 to 14 days of your check-out date.

How a Deposit Can Be Affected:

  • If the host reports damage, the deposit will be held while the claim is investigated and resolved.
  • If the host utilizes both a damage protection plan and a refundable deposit, the deposit will be held until any related electronic claim (eClaim) is fully processed.

3. Extenuating Circumstances Policy

This policy is designed to protect both guests and hosts in the event of unforeseen, widespread events that significantly disrupt travel.

How It Works:

  • In qualifying situations, such as declared natural disasters or government-mandated travel restrictions, netwmp.com may activate its Extenuating Circumstances Policy.
  • When activated, this policy overrides the host’s standard cancellation policy, and hosts are required to provide full or partial refunds to impacted guests.

What to Do:

  • If you believe your situation qualifies, please contact our customer support team for assistance. All cases are reviewed individually against the policy’s criteria.
